Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Driplins is built to need as little of your data as possible. No account, no profile, and your saved items stay on your own device.

1. Who we are

Driplins is the data controller for personal data processed on driplins.com. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act. You can reach us any time through our contact page — data requests are handled the same way as any other message.

2. What we collect

  • Search queries and filters you enter, used to deliver results and improve search quality.
  • Anonymous usage statistics such as pages visited, referring page and a random visitor ID stored in your browser. This ID is not linked to your name or email.
  • Basic technical data such as browser type and approximate country, used for security and to show shops that deliver to you.
  • Images you upload to image search or wardrobe tools, processed only to produce your results.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form, including your name and email if you provide them.

3. What we do not collect

  • We do not require accounts or passwords.
  • We do not process payments or see what you buy at a shop.
  • Saved items and price-drop alerts are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
  • We do not sell personal data.

4. Why we use it

We process data on the following legal bases:

  • Providing the service (legitimate interest): returning search results, AI suggestions and price information.
  • Improving and securing Driplins (legitimate interest): understanding which searches work, preventing abuse.
  • Answering you (legitimate interest / your request): replying to messages sent via the contact form.

5. Sharing and processors

We use carefully selected service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery and AI processing. They act on our instructions under data processing agreements. When you click a result you leave Driplins, and the shop's own privacy policy applies from that point.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

7. How long we keep it

  • Anonymous statistics and search logs: up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated.
  • Uploaded images: only for as long as needed to produce your results.
  • Contact messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You can clear locally stored data at any time through your browser settings. To exercise your rights, contact us. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk) or your local authority.

9. Children

Driplins is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as Driplins evolves. The date at the top shows the current version.
